Shreebhumi Sporting Club to recreate New Jersey's Akshardham Temple in Durga Puja 2025

The official beginning of the Durga Puja festival in Bengal, traditionally marked by the pulling of the Rath Yatra chariots, has spurred Kolkata's renowned Shreebhumi Sporting Club to commence its grand preparations. This year's Durga festival preparations for the club officially began with a traditional Khuti Puja held on Sunday, attended by club chief and minister Sujit Bose.

Shreebhumi Sporting Club is celebrated annually for its ambitious and often spectacular themes, which have previously included replicas of the 'Burj Khalifa,' 'Vatican City,' and 'Disneyland,' each time drawing immense crowds. Continuing this tradition of recreating world-famous landmarks, the club has announced that its theme for Durga Puja 2025 will be the 'Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir' located in New Jersey, America.

The selection of the New Jersey Akshardham Temple, known for its intricate architecture and spiritual significance, promises another awe-inspiring spectacle for devotees and visitors alike.
